I will patch you up by Deggiahl I will patch you up by Deggiahl
Watercolour, ink and gouache + some digital afterwork. I got stuck with the faceless character, so Im using him again in another composition and interaction. Still on the road of horror art... :)

No problem :D
I love how you made this very dark and kind of morbid theme of faceles man sewing parts of his body into something romantic, where you can even see their emotions without them having faces. How do you come up with this kind of ideas?

Aaw, thank you. :D The theme with the faceless man (sewing on hos own face in a previous picture, and also sewing together his abdomen) came like an idea a while ago. Ive been into painting masks, symbolism with humans wearing the emotions theyre expected to wear, like a life long masquerade in society. But then I wanted to explore and "dare" to make more morbid and brutal pictures, and try to combine beauty, warm human emotions with raw, cold violence and brutality. Ive been studying human behaviour for years, all defence mechanisms, all charades, emotions and reactions and to express those when the face is blank - how do you do it? And then I came up with the blue man and felt like his design was perfect to develop within this line of expressions. I just "get them", these ideas - and they haunt me until I can get them down on paper :)

I'm very happy that I found your art to watch, and I'm grateful that you told me your story
