Beasts And Man

A kind of quickly done painting. I have never drawn or painted lions before, so I tried it out in a semi comic style. Where does the animal end and the human begin? I also had great joy in elaborating with the colours of night landscape, moonlight and shadows. Some of the moonlight is made in photoshop to clear it out after the scanning. Watercolour, ink and slight digital afterwork.
